Benny Gold gives us an early look into a series of upcoming New Era caps due out in April 2011. Taking inspiration from classic collegiate teams of the ’90s, the brand utilizes three distinct colorways and pairs them with intricate details, including various embroidered patches and leather brims. Celebrity Feet: Wale – Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Dark Pine’

Hip-hop artist and walking Nike billboard Wale is best known in our circles for having the most anticipated releases months in advance. The Air Max 24/7 in Neon, the Air Foamposite One ‘Metallic Pewter’, and the Zoom Huarache TR Mid ‘Green Lantern’ are just a few examples of the sick kicks that he’s had on his feet before any of us even had an opportunity to look at, and for the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, he brought out a little something to get our blood boiling again. Wale, who performed alongside J. Cole at the House of Blues on Friday night, wore the Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Dark Pine’, a shoe that isn’t even set for a release until September of this year. In the dim lighting, the Dark Pine comes off as a pure black colorway, but during a moment in the light, you can see the Dark Pine color shine through. In the Mayback Music documentary-like video, Wale can be heard mentioning something along the lines of ‘Maybach Music Foamposite’ – is he referring to his new kicks or perhaps a special PE of some sort? Nixon 42-20 Rose Gold

Nixon introduces their 42-20 divers watch for Spring 2011 in an all rose gold colorway. We have been fans of rose gold for a while now and even though the large amount of it on this new Nixon watch might catch a little too much attention, we do like it for the summer months.

Some of you might remember the calendar and the lookbook that Ellen Stagg shot for Mishka. Now the two have teamed up again and present the “Wet Dreams” skateboard deck and matching t-shirt. Both pieces can be purchased from the Mishka online store and flagship stores now.
Nike Dunk AC Vintage

In another round of Vintage Nike releases for Spring 2011 comes the all-new Dunk. Similar to some of the other models just recently released, this Dunk AC also uses a treated rubber sole to give it a throwback feel along with a suede upper and vintage tongue style. The model was produced in four colorways and will be available from select Nike Sportswear retailers come mid-March.
POW WOW Hawai’i T-shirt & Incase iPhone 4 Case Collection

Over the last few days, an international and local group of artists have been working away in anticipation of POW WOW Hawai’i’s concluding event and party. Taking place on Saturday, February 19 at Loft in Space from 6:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m, the event finds its inspiration in highlighting the whole creative art making process. The general public is encouraged to come and oversee artists in a studio environment since its opening on Wednesday. To mark the event, a T-shirt and exclusive Incase iPhone 4 Case were created based on a graphic created by resident Hypebeast blogger and multi-talented artist, Yue Wu. The T-shirt will be available for sale online at In4mation as well as at the event with a retail price of $30 USD.
Reebok Classics x Swizz Beatz

Reebok has officially announced its collaboration with Swizz Beatz, for 2011 and will be teaming up with the music producer to create a special line for Reebok Classics. While not many details are available at the moment, Reebok says that Swizz Beatz will also serve as curator for the Reestyle collective, a global group of artists who have been selected to conceive and produce creative content in the realms of dance, music, art and style. Nike SB Denim Dunk High

Nike SB drops another quickstrike this month as we see the arrival of a denim Dunk High. The kicks feature a subtle approach with two colors of denim featured on the uppers alongside black outsoles and white midsoles. Look for these, along with the rest of Nike SB’s February drops, now through select SB dealers
Nike Air Foamposite One

After a long hiatus the Nike Air Foamposite One makes its return in Spring 2011 as Nike introduces a retro version of the popular Penny Hardaway design, first released in 1997. Done up in the trademark royal blue colorway, the kicks instantly evoke a ’90s nostalgia, arguably Nike’s greatest era for basketball sneakers. This particular release should be a big one for sneaker heads and Foamposite fans alike. A release is scheduled for February 12 at Nice Kicks, amongst other fine Nike stockists. Retail is set at $200 USD, unfortunately a $20 price hike from the original release price.
